The right cream at the right time.

Are you using right face cream at right time?

Those who know how to do it right, know the importance of protecting the skin in the day and during the night.   Both day face cream and night face cream have a role to play to keep that radiance on your skin.   So, why is it important to use face cream both in the day and night?

What face cream should I be applying and how often should I apply the cream depends on what you are trying to achieve with your skin.   Let us first see how day time and night time affects our skin and then we can establish why it is essential to use different ingredients for different times of the day.

Protect & Nourish your skin During Day Time

During the day, our skin is more exposed to environmental pollution, make-up and especially the UV rays from the sun.   In the day, the skin needs to be protected from these environmental factors as well is kept hydrated and energized.  Most of the day creams are designed and formulated to fight against these aggressors and penetrate deep into the skin to hydrate and nourish the skin. However, a lot of the creams use

  • Sodium lauryl sulfate
  • BHA
  • Triclosan and triclocarban
  • Parabens
  • Retinyl palmitate
  • Petroleum

which are harmful chemicals that do more harm in the long run.  Therefore, if your aim behind using face cream during the day is to to protect your skin and stay energized and get glowing skin you should use the organic face cream for daily use, which contains the ingredients that fight against the UV rays and penetrates deep into the skin to make your skin hydrated, nourish & glowing.

You can check out our Misty Morning – Organic Cucumber & Pomegranate face cream for daily use. The olive oil in it and aloe vera penetrate deeps into the skin to hydrate and nourish your skin. Its rich organic essential oils rapidly enhance the skin’s radiant glow!

Repair Your Skin during Night Time

During the night, most of your time goes in deep sleep.  When you are in bed you no longer need protection from environmental pollution, make-up or the sun.  It is a time for rejuvenation of the mind, body as well as your skin.  The skin cells regenerate and repair themselves during the sleeping cycles.  The night cream tends to be heavier and thicker.  The skin is able to absorb the cream for a longer duration.   During the night we should use the natural night face cream which helps regenerating and repairing the skin as well as age defense.

Check out the Starry Night – Ylang Ylang and Geranium night face cream with pure honey and apricot oil that allows the skin to repair in the night.  The face feels supple, replenished and youthfully hydrated when you wake up the next morning.

To conclude, if you want to protect, nourish and have a glow on your skin, you should use the daily face cream before going out and if you want to repair and regenerate your skin and look young for a long time you should use the night cream.
